Freemansburg Volunteer Fire Company No. 1

The Freemansburg Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 is a dedicated 100% volunteer fire company serving the Borough of Freemansburg in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

In addition to providing fire service to Freemansburg Borough, the Freemansburg Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 also provides assistance through mutual aid services to other neighboring communities upon request. Stationed at 600 Monroe Street, the department plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the local community.

Our mission is to prevent the loss of life and property. In addition to responding to fires, the Freemansburg Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 also responds to motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, incidents involving hazardous materials, or any other incident where our services are requested.

At the fire company, there's a role for everyone. You don't have to fight fires to make a real difference in the community! If running into a burning building isn't for you, that’s okay - we need just as many hands to help run the administrative side of the fire service. Firefighting is just one part of what we do. From administrative duties to community outreach, your skills can help keep our fire company strong.

If you're 16 or older and want to contribute to your community, we encourage you to stop by the firehouse on a Monday night. Meet our team, learn more, and pick up a membership packet to get started! Your community needs you - in or out of the fire gear!

Freemansburg Fire Company No. 1 is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, that provides fire prevention/suppression, rescue and other emergency services to Freemansburg Borough and other surrounding communities.

We rely on donations, which is a tax-deductible contribution, to help offset the rising costs of keeping our team trained, equipped, and ready to respond.
